Find an instructor
Browse independent driving instructors listed on DriveAU. Compare their rates, vehicle, transmission and the suburbs they cover.

Pick a time that is really free
You only ever see times your instructor has opened. Choosing one holds it briefly while you pay, so two learners cannot take the same slot.

Pay the instructor's price
The price you see is your instructor's price for that lesson. DriveAU does not add a booking fee. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see your card details.

See your progress
After a lesson your instructor can record how you went against each driving skill, so you always know what to work on next.
Changing or cancelling a lesson
- 24 hours or more before — you can reschedule free, or cancel for a full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before — a cancellation is not refunded automatically. A person reviews it and gets in touch.
- If your instructor cancels — you get a full refund, however close to the lesson it happens.
Who provides the lesson
Driving lessons are provided by independent driving instructors, each running their own business. They set their own prices, availability, service areas and vehicle. DriveAU is the marketplace — we handle finding an instructor, booking and payment, and we charge the instructor a commission for that. DriveAU does not provide driving lessons.
